The Key Stage 3 music curriculum covers the three main areas of performing, composing and listening. These are developed through a series of units design to allow students to gain knowledge and perform within many different genres of music. Students are encouraged to be creative and to develop their independent and group work skills while gaining confidence throughout the two years.
There are many extra-curricular activities and instrumental lessons for the students to participate in through the year with the chance to perform to larger audiences at the end of the year.
