You will continue to develop and improve your language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing by studying topics from three themes:
'Identity and culture'; 'Local, national, international and global areas of interest'; and 'Current and future study and employment'.
All topics begin with basic vocabulary and essential GCSE grammar, before progressing on to more challenging and creative language. Lessons
are interactive with focus on communicating effectively and confidently as well as building extensive cultural understanding.
Trips and exchanges are offered and provide a fantastic opportunity to experience the culture of the language studied and further improve your language skills. They are not a compulsory part of the GCSE course, but are highly recommended.
The papers are at foundation or higher level
