PSHEE & Core Citizenship


The PSHEE programme gives you an opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, attitudes and understanding about yourself, your relationships with
others and making safe and healthy choices in your life.
Through the 'Be Real Game' in Year 9 you will learn: the importance of education & qualifications in getting the job you want; how occupational choice impacts upon lifestyle; how to balance income and leisure; and the roles and responsibility of community.
In Year 10, lessons will cover Relationships and Sex Education, British Values, and Drugs and Alcohol education. In Year 11, lessons will cover Wellbeing and caring for your mental health, modern day slavery, Relationships and Sex Education and Money Management.

Personal, Social, Health & Economic Education (PSHEE) and Core Citizenship are non-examined courses.
