Religious Studies - Ethics & Philosophy


This course provides an opportunity to study the issues and questions that matter, whilst developing your thinking skills. You will be able to develop your own thoughts and ideas about philosophical, moral and ethical issues.
You will learn about two major world religions; and you will explore the importance and impact of a range of beliefs and their teachings.
The issues which you may explore include:
animal rights; environmental issues; prejudice and discrimination; war and peace; abortion and euthanasia; genetic engineering; crime and punishment; the existence of God; science and religion; human rights.
