This course is aimed at students who want to develop their knowledge and skills in sport. This course will also help to provide a practical introduction to
working in the sports industry and develop some understanding of how it operates, different types of participants in sport, the body systems and how
they respond to sports participation, and the positive effects of physical activity on health and wellbeing as a result of sports participation.
You will have the opportunity to develop your personal sporting techniques and learn how to support others to improve their own performance.
The GCSE PE courses may run in parallel for the first half term, allowing movement between the courses based on progress and suitability for the course.
