Admission for children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan.
Where Budmouth College is named in a child’s Statement of Special Educational Needs or Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), the governing body recognises a duty to admit the child to the college.  The admissions process for children with a Statement or EHCP is administered by the Local Authority.

Years 7-11

There are currently no spaces in any year group, at Budmouth College.
If you are moving into the area, or are thinking of moving your son/daughter’s school, please contact the College and we will let you know the current situation.
Applications need to be made to the Local Authority via their website www.dorsetforyou.com/schooladmissions
If we are unable to offer your son/daughter a place and you would like to be included on our waiting list, please contact Mrs A Fortescue: admissions@budmouth.dorset.sch.uk at the College.
There is the opportunity to appeal against a decision not to offer a place.  Appeals are heard by an independent panel and their decision is binding on the College. Information can be found at www.dorsetforyou.com/school-admissions/school-appeals
Appeals are heard by an independent panel set up by the Local Authority.
