Dates for your diary
  • Tuesday 11th July 2017 - Transfer Day
Students should wear their Primary School uniform and bring with them a bag with a pencil case, pens etc. No sports kit will be needed.

  • Tuesday 27th June - Yr 6 Parents Introductory Meeting
A presentation for parents/carers, where there will be an opportunity to talk individually to senior staff.  It also allows us to explain what Budmouth expects from the student/parent/carer/Budmouth partnership and our expectations about high standards of work, attendance, behaviour, uniform and attendance at parents’ evenings.  At the Introductory Meeting we would like you to bring all the relevant forms completed and signed.

Click here to view the presentation from the Introductory Meeting.  Warning! This is a very large download and you will need Microsoft PowerPoint or the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer to be able to view the presentation.

Introductory Meeting

In June, you will be able to visit Budmouth to meet a member of the Budmouth Staff. This will give you the opportunity to talk through the induction process and to ask questions about Budmouth.

It also allows us to explain what Budmouth expects from the student/parent/carer/Budmouth partnership and our expectations about high standards of work, attendance, behaviour and uniform and attendance at parents’ evenings.

At the Introductory Meeting we would like you to bring all the relevant forms (printed in yellow) completed and signed. These forms will be sent to you with your invite.

Induction Day

Induction Day tbc. This is a chance for you to spend a day in Budmouth and start to get a feel of how Budmouth operates.

You will be taught some lessons and follow roughly the same timings of the day. You will need to come in your primary school uniform and be prepared for lessons (pen, pencil, ruler etc).

You will be provided with a free lunch (a vegetarian option will be available). Please ask your parents/carers to provide either a snack/drink or a small amount of money (£2.00 should suffice), to buy this from the canteen for break.

The day will start at 8.40am in the main hall and the day will end at 2.50pm. Please ensure that you know how you are going to make your way to and from Budmouth e.g. with a brother or sister, walking or catching the bus.
