A’Levels (and equivalents)
Students at Budmouth College have achieved an impressive range of top grades in A Levels this year. 10% of grades were either at A* or A, 37% of grades were within the range A*-B, with 65% within A*-C.
This is the first year that students have taken the reformed, more challenging form of A Levels.
Almost all Budmouth students have secured a place at University, but particular praise was reserved for Brodie Asker for earning a place at Cambridge University to study Computer Science, and Maddie Bell for her place at Bristol University to study Veterinary Science.

Students at Budmouth College have achieved an impressive range of top grades in GCSE this year. 58% of students achieved grades 9-4 in five or more subjects, including English and Maths, with 75% of students securing grades 9-4 in English and 70% in Maths.
This is the first year that students have taken the reformed, more challenging form of GCSEs in all subjects.
Almost all Budmouth students will now be able to pursue academic and vocational success at local Sixth Form colleges, with the majority expected to stay on at Budmouth’s own Sixth Form.
Although the College is celebrating the success of all its students, the performance of some students stand out. A number of students secured the top Grade 9, reserved for exceptional performance. Jodie Stone secured eight Grade 9s while Emily Foster secured six. Jon Starkey and Ethan Clark were the most successful amongst the boys, securing five Grade 9s each.
